Laini and The Wildfire
Laini and The Wildfire
Laini and the Wildfire is a piano-fronted pop rock trio from New Haven, CT. Their latest record, Wandering, set to be released on 11/3/17, blends the pop sensibility of artists like Adele and the raw edge of female-fronted rock bands, like Florence + the Machine, inflected with a touch 60s soul. Essentially Pop writes, “Laini’s voice is deep and soulful, lush, and honeyed, gorgeous and compelling”. The band’s sound highlights Laini’s vocals, along with percussive piano, anthemic group harmonies, and the powerful rhythm of bass and drums—using guitars and other instrumentation as a subtle polish. Wandering explores past regret, future hopes, and fear of change in context of Laini’s decision to resign as a therapist to pursue music full-time. The band has grown rapidly since the debut of their EP in May 2016, which ranked #5 album of the year by Cygnus Radio host G. Gone. Endorsements from Westone Audio, Moniker Guitars, and GMS Drums further validate the industry’s belief in the band’s potential. Together, Laini Marenick, Mark Marenick, and Rob Siraco have developed an identity that transcends generations and translates into a captivating live performance, where the band, along with Laini’s gold glitter piano, shines front and center.
Chaser Eight
Chaser Eight
New Haven, Connecticut rock quintet, Chaser Eight, is a melodic, alternative rock outfit that released a new Naked Collection on January 27th, 2017, three singles at the beginning of 2016, and their first studio LP, Chaser Eight, on February 17, 2015. The group boasts bluesy and richly expressive vocals, mesmerizingly textured guitar playing, and a dynamic and imaginative rhythm section. Inspired by Joan Jett, Foo Fighters and Alanis Morissette, Chaser Eight writes moody, guitar driven songs lead with soulful female vocals. Since the age of ten, singer, *AUDRA*, and guitarist, Pat Walsh, have been writing songs together and released their first EP, Late Night Companions, in 2012 followed by EPs Up and Up and At the 426 in 2013. The band writes about relatable subject matter - darkness, love, loss, partying, and sex - inviting listeners to connect with the raw, passionate lyrics.

In 2013, the band made its television debut, performing two songs on WTNH's Connecticut Style Stage 8 and returned to Stage 8 in March 2016 and February 2015 to promote their singles and self-titled album. The band made their first official licensing placement in January 2014 with the commissioned remake of their song “Road (Indecision)” as the main title for the independent motion picture, Acting Like Adults. Their music has been played on Connecticut radio stations 99.1 WPLR and Radio 104.1 with Radio 104.1 being the official host of their video release party at Stella Blues in New Haven, Connecticut on March 25, 2016 and album release party at The Ballroom at The Outer Space in Hamden, Connecticut on February 21, 2015. Chaser Eight has opened for Panic! At The Disco, Atlas Genius, and The London Souls. *AUDRA* has worked with The Rolling Stones' iconic former manager, Andrew Loog Oldham, on the production and arrangement of her songs. They will be performing live all throughout the Northeast during 2016 and you can find their music on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, and many other popular sites. Treadwell
Treadwell
Treadwell consists of nothing more than your very own, deepest and innermost thinkings,
rolled up into a 3-dimensional sphere consisting of seemingly smooth surfaces, to be discovered that if you cut into it and take a chunk out it's a bit rough in the middle. This layered structure has the potential to morph into a fully exposed landmine, sprinkled with expectation so fragile and brittle that if only but a tiny spec of sugarcoated debris cuts through its atmosphere and touches ground, it'll detonate, releasing a sound that will resonate and permeate through your entire body, out your pores and into your surroundings, spreading like rapid wildfire throughout your personal universe, creating an engulfing haze you would love to just get lost in, and ultimately masking any feelings of doubt or hopelessness if only for a moment, but a moment that can be sustained, even after the fog clears and you're left with no choice but to emerge out of hiding.

Honing their sound from inside different basements across Connecticut, Treadwell has recently been spreading their music throughout the state, playing shows from New Haven to Hartford as well as into New York. Their self-titled LP made its debut in February 2016, with plenty more music to follow. There will be an EP release in 2017, but the main focus is to play, play, play, and offer show-goers a chance to see into the souls they put into their art. Look forward to hearing a lot more from Treadwell in the near future.
