Christopher Dean Quiriconi (Chris Q) has been writing music since he was in junior high school in late 90s Connecticut. This material has transpired into Hi-Fi Radio, Chris's first official original music project. Heavily influenced from 70's and 80's rock acts, Hi-Fi Radio's debut stays true to these roots. Recorded by Chris in late 2016-mid 2017 Hi-Fi Radio's sound was identified due to the high fidelity rock sounds that were created on tape and the name of the project was switched from its original name CQ4U. Bassist and keyboardist Lydia Arachne (who Chris formerly played in a Connecticut local cover band with, Tap That) helped bring the first album to life with piano solos and harmony vocals in "Mine Today, a mellotron solo in "Devils Daughter" and organs in "Sweet Chin Music". The two mixed and produced the album together and it was released Labor Day weekend 2017. Hi-Fi Radio has been touring ever since supporting their debut release enlisting Stevie Bagz on Rhythm Guitar and local phenom rock drummer Scotty Roland to complete the lineup.
