About the Show and the Artist:

BIG BAD JOHNS

Big Bad Johns were one of New Haven’s most popular rock bands in the latter half of the 1990’s. Inspired by country-punk acts like the Beat Farmers, the Blasters and Dash Rip Rock, they combined a raucous stage show with hard-hitting, catchy songs that rocked every bar they ever played and left audiences with smiles on their faces. Their two studio albums, “Plymouth Rock” and “I Will Be Good,” are fan favorites to this day. Though they disbanded in the early 2000’s, they have reunited a few times since to sellout houses and excited audiences. Their music has lived on in the soundtrack to shows such as “True Blood,” “90210,” “Divorce,” and “Heartland.” This show will feature the beloved original foursome of Detroit Dick, Buzz Gordo, Nervous Chet, and Jumpin’ Jim Balga, blasting through their hits like “Cold, Cold Heart,” “Smokin’ Joe,” “Funky Fu Manchu,” and some choice covers like “Baby’s Liquored Up.” Long time BBJ fans can relive their glorious youth, while newcomers can see and hear what all the fuss was about.

CADAVERS

Connecticut Punk Legend Larry Loud reforms the seminal Punk Rock n Roll act Cadavers to join this wild Rock N Roll party.

GOLDPARK

"For the members of Goldpark, the best music comes from true collaboration. The Nashville-based alternative rock trio, which formed in 2019 , finds inspiration from bands like Coldplay, Kings of Leon and Death Cab For Cutie–groups known for thoughtful song writing paired with lush soundscapes.

Goldpark’s songs are a point of connection not only for the band, but for the listener to. Even as the musicians examine the highs and lows of human existence, they also lean towards that optimism. In hard times, music can be what guides us back to ourselves."
